  • Category: Web redesign
  • Client: Allianz
  • Project date: January, 2024
  • Project duration: 5 days
  • Role: UX audit & UI design
  • Tools used: Figma
  • Project case study URL: Project - Allianz Newsfeed section
  • Summary: Creation of an intuitive digital experience that helps users discover the diverse news in the Newsfeed section of Allianz group. I initiated the redesign process by conducting a user experience audit on the existing section. The audit pinpointed several key areas for improvement:
  • 1. Lack of hierarchy: overwhelming and chaotic design, the user’s eye cannot focus just on one thing of the screen.
  • 2. Bad spacing and grouping of the information: problem with inconsistency of the way of presenting the information, each card has different elements.
  • 3. Readability issues: poor contrast that affects the readability.
  • 4. Not clear Calls to Action: CTAs are not prominent enough, as well as not distinguishable from other things on the screen.
  • 5. No clear focus on the main goal: users are confused because of the different format of each card as well as the wording of the buttons.
  • The redesign process included competitor analysis, rapid ideation > conceptizing, and iterations.

The final result is a revitalized and modern newsfeed section that provided users with a clear path to engage with the company's news. By resolving visual clutter, enhancing navigation, and focusing on accessibility, the redesigned news section has created a smoother and more efficient browsing experience.
